Q/D - visual reading

“If we don't reflect on what we are seeing, we are likely to be influenced and manipulated by stories without being aware of it” (Paragraph 16). 

In order to have a clear set mind on what you’re reading and how to carefully process that information, you must reflect on it. Reading a story without deeply analyzing it can make you unaware of what false information can be given to you. For example, you can read that 62% of the American population are White and be ignorant enough to believe without questioning it nor doing your own research to confirm it. That statistic is completely false and made up and anyone could’ve believed it if they didn’t reflect on it and do their own research.
