Habits of the creative mind, by Miller and Jurecic

Dear Miller and Jurecic,

         You made us realize that there's more to writing than we actually know. The difference between the writing that we are familiar with and the one that you're allowing us understand better is writing-to-learn with creativity and curiosity. Writing allows you "to try" and "to wander" rather than writing just to write, such as the writing we are used to in school. Essays shouldn't be looked as "for a grade" but as a way to express you creativity and your thoughts.
