The author takes us on a journey of the importance of reading and writing and how words have helped him read the world. Reading and writing allow you to make your world and be able to express it in the way you want it to be perceived. It allows you to express your creativity through words that you'll always have written down rather than it just being a memory that is forgotten but in fact a written memory that you can always go back and relive.
