Book club response #1

So far, the character in the book reads the world as judgmental. I say judgmental because she wants to be a prophet but she felt like she couldn’t tell anyone what she really wanted to be because she knew they wouldn’t accept it so she lied and said she wanted to be a doctor instead. She felt like the world needed someone to be the leader and she believed that leader was her.

Also I believe she saw the world as unfair. She wanted to make the world fair by having the power to heal her grandma from all pain . She also views the world unfair because she wanted to join the protest against the police but her parents wouldn’t allow her to go.
